About Village Green
Village Green Home and Garden was founded in 1965, by the late Laurence Smith and William Swadley. Our company is proud to be locally owned and operated for
over 50 years. Throughout the years the company has grown into 2 locations, on
North Main Street and Riverside Blvd. The North Main location is a traditional
garden center and greenhouse and our Riverside location features Northern Illinois
largest garden center and one of the largest Casual Furniture Showrooms in the
United States. At Village Green, we are committed to helping customers make
their spaces at their home more beautiful. Our goal is to inspire you to make your
home the perfect expression of your personality, inside and outside, while
providing the best quality plant material, goods and service!
